Introduction

This two-day course is essential if you need the skills required to carry out internal audits against ISO 14001:2015 requirements. It will teach you how to plan, prepare, evaluate and implement corrective action.

Internal audits satisfy the requirements of ISO 14001, which stipulates regular audits should be conducted at planned intervals to uphold an approval. Conducted properly, an internal audit can improve organizational performance and your EMS at the same time.

What do you need to prepare

  • A basic understanding of environmental issues before attending this course would be advantageous, but not essential
  • To have conducted internal audits in any of the following disciplines: quality management, health and safety and/or environment would equally be advantageous, but not essential
  • Ideally you will have attended our ISO 14001 Appreciation and Interpretation

Course Length

  • For the virtual courses, 16 hours delivered in 2 sessions or 16 hours delivered in 4 sessions
  • 2 days for the traditional face to face classroom course.
